Angkor Handicraft Association – AHA
The Angkor Handicraft Association (AHA) is a not for profit business association formed in 2011 that aims to help local artisans regain their competitive advantage through Fair Trade. It is the only organization in Cambodia that has a Fair Trade Village (marketplace) fully owned and supplied by local Cambodian people, selling authentic Khmer handicrafts.
Why these product/services considered as GREEN?
Providing support to local artisans within the rural communities, AHA promotes and sells their handicrafts within the Fair Trade Village. By linking the artisans to the local and international tourism sector and souvenir market, the artisans should be able to achieve a long-term self-sustainable livelihood.
